When you are choosing an electricity plan, you will find a variety of contract lengths, from short-term, month-to-month options to long-term contracts that can last for 36 months or more. Because the price of electricity can fluctuate, long-term plans typically offer more price stability, while short-term plans provide greater flexibility, but with the possibility of higher rates. To find the plan that best fits your needs, it's always a good idea to compare the different options available from electricity providers in your area.
As consumers become more environmentally conscious, renewable energy plans are becoming an increasingly popular choice. These plans rely on renewable sources, such as wind and solar, to help you reduce your carbon footprint. Renewable plans often match your electricity usage with renewable energy credits (RECs), which support clean energy production.
1 Your monthly bill will reflect your highest 2 days of usage per full week (Sunday through Saturday), up to 8 days per monthly billing period, at no charge for every billing period of 28 days or more. A week is defined as Sunday to Saturday, and a day is defined as a 24-hour period beginning at midnight through 11:59 p.m. For each monthly billing period less than 28 days, please see EFL for details. Your average price calculation will be based on your total monthly usage. Plan matches 100% of electricity usage with solar renewable energy certificates. Valid for new residential customers only. Reliant reserves the right to discontinue this offer without notice.
With this product, you are eligible to receive 3 bill credits, each of which must be utilized in a separate billing period during your term. You can apply bill credits within your online account, the Reliant app or by contacting the Reliant customer care team. Only one credit can be applied to any outstanding bill amount. Customers on AutoPay must redeem a bill credit at least 24 hours before the bill due date. Any unredeemed bill credits will automatically be applied during the last available bills of a customer’s term. Unused bill credits will not transfer if you switch away from the Flextra Credits plan and are not redeemable for cash.
