Yes. Since your home is connected to the electric grid, as long as there is no outage to the grid itself, you will have power even when the sun goes down or skies are cloudy.
Yes. Whether you live in a house, apartment or condo, you can still get the benefits of solar energy through the Flextra Credits plan without rooftop panels.
If you are within the first 90 days of your contract, call us at 1-866-222-7100 and we’ll be happy to help you change your plan.4 Unused bill credits do not roll over to a new plan.
You can apply your bonus bill credits through the Reliant app or your Reliant online account or by calling us directly at 1-800-556-2959. If you have Vivint and Reliant, you can use the Vivint app to control smart home features like automation and security and to view personalized energy insights powered by Reliant all in one place.
If your bill is less than the bill credit amount, your credit will cover your bill. The remaining credit will be applied to the next month's bill.
With the Reliant Flextra Credits plan, you don’t have to worry about scheduling your usage, even during the summer. We'll figure out your 2 highest-use days each week, and you will get those for FREE, up to 8 days per month. On top of those free days, you’ll also have $200 in bill credits (one $100 bill credit and two $50 bill credits). Use them whenever you need them — perfect for extra savings.1
Free electricity means you’ll enjoy no energy charge ($0) and no usage-based delivery charges ($0) during your free time-of-use period.
With the Reliant Flextra Credits electricity plan powered by 100% solar energy, Reliant will match 100% of your electricity usage with Texas and national solar renewable energy certificates every month. That means your monthly usage supports the production of solar energy without the hassle of installing panels.
No. Your bill credits can only be applied to one bill at a time. However, you can use them in whatever order works best for you. You have one $100 bill credit and two $50 bill credits.
Any unredeemed bill credits will automatically be applied during the last available bills of your term. Unused bill credits will not transfer if you switch away from the Flextra Credits plan and are not redeemable for cash. If there is a credit balance at the end of your term, the balance will be applied to the first bill of your new term with Reliant. If you choose to leave Reliant, the credit balance will be forfeited.
Unused bill credits aren’t transferable to another customer or if you switch to a plan other than Flextra Credits.
Yes. Average Monthly Billing is compatible with the plan. However, please keep in mind that your Reliant Weekly Summary Email will reflect your actual usage and electricity costs for the week and your estimated electricity charges for the current billing cycle — not your Average Monthly Billing amount. Additionally, if you choose to cancel Average Monthly Billing, cancel your electricity service or change providers, bill credits cannot be applied to your deferred balance. Unused bill credits are not redeemable for cash and will be applied automatically by Reliant during the last few billing cycles.

1 Your monthly bill will reflect your highest 2 days of usage per full week (Sunday through Saturday), up to 8 days per monthly billing period, at no charge for every billing period of 28 days or more. A week is defined as Sunday to Saturday, and a day is defined as a 24-hour period beginning at midnight through 11:59 p.m. For each monthly billing period less than 28 days, please see product’s Electricity Facts Label for details. Your average price calculation will be based on your average monthly usage. This plan matches 100% of electricity usage with solar renewable energy certificates. Reliant reserves the right to discontinue this offer without notice.
With the 24-month Flextra Credits plan, you are eligible to receive three bill credits (one $100 credit and two $50 credits), each of which must be utilized in a separate billing period during your term. You can apply bill credits within your online account, in the Reliant app or by contacting Reliant’s customer care team. Only one credit can be applied to any outstanding bill amount. Customers on AutoPay must redeem a bill credit up to 24 hours before the bill due date. Any unredeemed bill credits will automatically be applied during the last available bills of a customer’s term. Unused bill credits will not transfer if you switch away from the Flextra Credits plan and are not redeemable for cash.
2 Referrals may only be submitted by active Reliant residential customers with a Texas service address. Any disputes relating to eligibility will be determined solely by Reliant. Reliant may modify or discontinue this program at any time without notice. Additional terms and conditions apply. Visit our referrals page for more details.
3 Requests processed after 5:00 p.m. Central Time will be connected the next business day. Enrollment and permit requirements must be met before a request can be processed. Additional charges apply.

Restrictions and terms and conditions apply.
