In Corpus Christi, the Gulf of Mexico beckons you with everything from fishing, scuba diving and windsurfing to boating, bird watching and beachcombing. Reliant helps bring positive energy to enrich the Corpus Christi area — from Mustang-Padre Island and Flour Bluff, to the Central City and Calallen.
We partner with more than 150 charities and organizations across Texas — including in the Texas Gulf Coast area, Nueces county, and the “Sparkling City by the Sea.”
In Corpus Christi, we help support the American Cancer Society, the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball team and the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department. We partner with the Buccaneer Commission — a non-profit organization that stages the Buccaneer Days festival in Corpus Christi, in support of bringing entertaining, educational and cultural events to the Coastal Bend.
We also have joined forces with the South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, Driscoll Hospital and the non-profit LEAD First Foundation.
In addition, the Community Assistance from Reliant Energy (CARE) program works with nonprofit social service agencies in the area to provide extra funds to Reliant customers who qualify for assistance with their electricity bills.
