Texas electricity pricing includes charges from Reliant and delivery charges from your TDSP/utility (CenterPoint Energy). The combined charges below divided by your total monthly usage equals your average price per kWh.

Our CARE program, made possible thanks to Reliant and customer contributions, helps customers who are facing financial hardship pay their electricity bills and has provided more than $18 million in statewide agency assistance since 2002.
Every year we commit school supply kits to K-12 students for the upcoming school year. The school supply kits are distributed at our yearly back-to-school events for elementary, middle, and high school students across Texas.
The Reliant Choose to Give plan allows our customers to support charitable organizations in Texas. When you enroll on a Reliant Choose to Give plan, we’ll make a $100 donation to your chosen nonprofit upfront and 5% of your monthly energy charges will also be contributed annually. We’re proud to have contributed over $2 million through the Choose to Give program.
Beat the Heat
We are proud to sponsor a total of 49 Beat the Heat cooling centers across Texas. These cooling centers are air-conditioned spaces that are free and open to the public, allowing the community a safe place to cool off throughout the summer months.

Reliant has assisted Rebuilding Together Houston with home repairs for low-income homeowners for almost 25 years. Employees participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Wheelchair Ramp Build, Rising Together during Black History Month and Rebuilding Juntos during Hispanic Heritage Month annually.
