We are excited to announce a new beta program — offered
exclusively to Reliant customers who are home battery owners.

With the Reliant Battery Perks program, customers with eligible batteries will export reserves when needed — joining together to help positively contribute to the grid.

How does it work?

Once you're enrolled, your battery’s reserves will be exported when needed, such as during times of high demand, but only if your battery is above the reserve threshold you set. 
 

Who is eligible?

To participate in the beta program, you must be an active Reliant electricity customer and own an eligible home battery that has a utility interconnection agreement and is connected to Wi-Fi. For more information about these eligibility requirements, please view the Battery Perks program’s Terms of Service.²

The Battery Perks program can only support Enphase, SolarEdge and LG* battery systems at this time, but we want to assure you that we’re working to expand our offerings and include more eligible battery systems. Check back with us soon to see if your system has become eligible for the Battery Perks program.

*LG battery systems are only compatible when connected to a SolarEdge inverter.

Yes. Your home will always receive power from your battery before any reserves are exported to the grid during an event.

Yes. When Reliant needs to deploy your battery's reserves, we will always keep the charge above the battery reserve threshold you set for your system.

If you are enrolled in a Reliant electricity plan that provides credits for solar production, you will continue to receive those credits.
