Sign up for your employee discount today
Register to access your exclusive savings with the Client Employee Program. You'll need your Reliant account number, unique company code and ESI ID number.
You'll be reminded to set up Paperless Billing when you complete your enrollment.

Once you complete your sign-up, please return to this website and enroll in the program under the 'Already a Customer' section using your account number.

First, you will need the company password your employer emailed you to enter the site. To register your Reliant account for the program, you will need your Reliant account number and ESI ID (Electric Service Identification Number). You can find these numbers on your paper bill, or on the PDF version of your bill online (see sample bill below). You can download your bill
You will know the program is in effect when you see the line item on your bill ‘CEP Paperless Discount’. This will take up to two billing cycles to appear on your bill.
To find out if you are signed up for Paperless Billing, you’ll need to log on to reliant.com and review your billing options. The billing method ‘Receive paperless bills by email’ must be selected to be eligible for the program.
Only the employees of participating Reliant clients may register for the Client Employee Program.
You will be eligible only if your new employer is a participant in the Client Employee Program. If they are a participant, you will need to register again with the password from your new employer.
If your company’s participation in the Client Employee Program expires, the program will end. If your employer chooses to re-enroll in the program, you will need to sign up with a new password at reliant.com/en/about/cep/register.
To be on the program, you must be signed up for Paperless Billing. Once you are signed up for Paperless Billing, the Client Employee Program may take up to two billing cycles to be applied to your bill.
You will remain eligible for the program if you are employed by a participating Reliant client and live in the Reliant service area. When you move, you will need to register your new home at reliant.com/cep. Once you have registered your new home and set up your new Reliant service, please contact TheEmployeeDiscount@nrg.com to ensure the discount is applied to your new home and removed from the previous address.
*The Paperless Billing discount will be effective within two billing cycles after registration, enrollment in Reliant Paperless Billing, and verification of employment and customer status. You must be enrolled in Reliant Paperless Billing to receive the discount. The discount will be based on the current month's usage and does not apply to past-due balances, taxes, third-party services, non-commodity products like Make It Solar or Reliant EcoShareSM, non-recurring charges, or guard lights. The Paperless Billing discount will be applied to a single meter per employee, before other discounts or billing options are calculated.
*The Reliant Client Employee Program is available for active employees of companies to which Reliant provides retail electricity service. This offer is not transferrable and is only available to residential customers in Texas. Customers signing up on select prepaid electricity plans are not eligible for the Paperless Billing discount.
To receive the Paperless Billing discount, you must be a Reliant customer and your Reliant electricity account must be in your name or show a service address that matches your home address as reflected in your company’s employment records. The Paperless Billing discount ends immediately if you move to a different service address. Re-enrollment is required at the new service address.
Your participation in the Reliant Client Employee Program and the Paperless Billing discount will end immediately upon termination of employment with your company or upon termination of your company's electricity supply contract with Reliant. Reliant reserves the right to discontinue this program without notice. The discount cannot be combined with other loyalty discounts.
