Change your mind, if you want.
If your electricity plan isn't quite what you expected, please let us know. Reliant is committed to remaining flexible in our service, which includes making sure the electricity plan you choose is the right fit.
Since we offer a variety of electricity plans to meet our customers' unique needs, simply give us a call, and if you are within the first 90 days of your contract, we'll help you change it to a plan that is better suited for your lifestyle.
And, here's the best part — there is no charge to change.
Whether you are a new or existing customer, if you are within the first 90 days of your contract, you can change your plan. It's that simple.
Welcome to Reliant. Choose a plan and relax knowing you can change your mind in the first 90 days.
Valid for residential customers without penalty if they sign up for a new term contract within first 90 days of current contract. Restrictions and terms and conditions apply.
Who qualifies? You must be within the first 90 days of your electricity term contract. Unfortunately, customers on low-deposit term plans, autopay and waive plans, and on plans less than 6 months are not eligible.
What is the cost?If you're an existing Reliant customer and eligible, there is no penalty fee for changing your plan.
What plans can I change to?
You must sign up for a plan that is the same term or longer than your current electricity plan. For example, you may not change from a 12-month term to a 6-month term.
Unfortunately, customers cannot change from plans with an incentive to other plans with an incentive. While you can keep any incentives or products that came with your initial plan, you aren't eligible to receive any additional incentives with your new plan.
How do I get started? If you are within the first 90 days of your term plan, speak with one of our customer care agents. They will help you find a plan that works for you.
When does my new plan start?Your new plan will be effective after you complete enrollment on the new plan agreeing to the new terms and conditions. After you change plans, this will initiate a new term and contract expiration date. Your call center representative will help address any additional questions based on the plan you choose.
How often can I change my plan? You can change your plan without a penalty fee once every 12 months (rolling months).
