During your enrollment in any term electricity plan, you’ll be asked if you’d like to add the Smarter Home Bundle to your plan. Select “yes” and accept the terms. You must also accept the Degrees of Difference terms. The offer is free as long as you’re a Reliant customer, but you’ll need to provide credit card information in case you choose to leave Reliant.2
Any homeowner enrolled in a qualifying Reliant electricity plan is eligible to receive the Vivint Smarter Home Bundle. But you can still enjoy a personalized smart home system with Vivint no matter what type of home you live in. Yes! While the Smarter Home Bundle is available exclusively to homeowners with a qualifying Reliant electricity plan, anyone can still enjoy a personalized smart home system with Vivint Smart Home Essentials.

Yes, as long as you remain a Reliant electricity customer. The Vivint Doorbell Camera Pro, Vivint Smart Thermostat and professional installation are available at no cost to you as a Reliant electricity customer and the equipment is yours to keep. As long as you remain a Reliant customer, your monthly subscription fee for the Vivint App will be waived.
However, if you choose to leave Reliant, Vivint will charge a monthly app subscription fee to your payment method on file. Please note that the subscription pricing is subject to change. $14.99 or the then-prevailing subscription fee will apply.
This is to cover any potential expenses, like the monthly app subscription fee, if you decide to cancel your Reliant electricity service.
The equipment is yours to keep, but Vivint will automatically apply a $14.99 monthly charge (or the then-prevailing fee) for continued access to the Vivint app. You can also cancel your Vivint app subscription at any time by contacting Vivint at 1-800-216-5232. If you choose to cancel your Vivint subscription, you'll lose access to Vivint app features, such as two-way talk through the doorbell camera and thermostat scheduling.

All components of this bundle are designed to work together for optimal comfort, control and savings. At this time, the bundle cannot be separated.
Participation in the Degrees of Difference program is required. But rest assured that you can opt out of a Degrees of Difference event at any time by manually adjusting your Vivint thermostat or with the Vivint app.

3 To receive the annual bill credit, you must participate in at least 50% of total Degrees of Difference event hours, and no less than one Degrees of Difference event, in any Program Year (first Program Year will be measured from date of enrollment). Your participation will be measured based on your performance during eligible event hours, rounded to the nearest minute. Program Years run from November 1 to October 31. Bill credit will be applied to your Reliant account within two billing cycles of the Program Year end date. Reliant account must be active at the time of the bill credit award to receive the credit; credits are nontransferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Reliant may offer future bill credit promotions for participation in subsequent Program Years; offer terms are subject to change.
