1 Requests processed after 5:00 p.m. Central Time will be connected the next business day. Same-day service is offered Monday through Saturday, weather permitting, where an existing meter is in place. No connections on holidays. Enrollment and permit requirements must be met before a request can be processed. Additional charges apply.
2 The electricity account holder is responsible for ensuring full payment of the bill by the due date. “Split the bill” feature allows bill payments to be made from multiple sources.
3 Reliant Energy’s residential retail electricity customers who are enrolled in a qualifying electricity plan have a one-time opportunity to change to a different qualifying retail electricity plan option, within 90 days of the beginning of their enrollment, without incurring an early termination fee. Terms and conditions apply.
You must be within a Reliant service area to transfer your service and transfer within the same transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP). Flat Bill plans are excluded. TDSP connection fees and additional restrictions may apply.
