As our customer, you are the most important thing to us, and we're here to help you find the best plan for you and your energy needs. We want you to know that you have options other than cancelling your service.

If you are moving, you may not need to cancel your service. You could transfer it to your new address. Enter your address to see if we offer service in your new location. Transferring your service to a new address is easy.
Changing your plan
Customers eligible for renewal
If you are close to your contract end date, log in and check the Renew or Change Plan page to see if you are eligible to switch plans. If you are eligible to switch online, you can click through to a list of plans available to you.
Customers not eligible for renewal
If you are unhappy with your current plan, we want to help you find something that will work better for your home or business. Call us at 1-855-671-7971 or chat now. We have plenty of plan options, not all of which are available online.
Before cancelling your service, be sure to check your contract terms or call 1-866-222-7100 to see if you will need to pay a cancellation fee to cancel your service. Many term plans require you to pay a cancellation fee if you cancel before the end of your term.
If you are cancelling because of frequent outages, please be aware that outages are not in our control. Your transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP) — which could be CenterPoint, Oncor, Texas New Mexico Power, Sharyland Utilities, AEP North or AEP Central — maintains the poles and wires in your area and is the company that works to restore power in the event of an outage. If you are not moving to a new home in a new area, your TDSP will not change, and you will likely experience the same number of outages.
