Community
At Reliant, our commitment to community is as strong as our Texas roots. It’s ingrained in who we are as a company and as people.
Reliant and its parent company, NRG, donated over $1.2 million to organizations and initiatives that combat racial inequities, injustice and related violence. We remain committed to supporting progress in our communities.
Honored with the
2022 Customer Centricity World Series Award
Our $10 million commitment includes funding to these efforts:
Supporting nonprofits that serve our communities with grants and pro-bono work addressing immediate needs, including food, water, and temporary or damaged housing.
Providing direct financial relief to NRG customers impacted by the winter storm.
Aiding affected employees by allocating additional funding to the NRG Employee Relief Fund, which assists those facing financial challenges immediately after a natural disaster or another unforeseen event.
This is the place we call home, and we feel it’s essential we do our part for those here who are struggling.
