3Same-day service is offered Monday through Saturday (except on holidays), where an existing standard "smart" meter is in place. For move-ins (including transfer of service), requests processed after 6 p.m. Central Time will be connected the next business day. For switches, requests processed after 5 p.m. Central Time will be connected the next business day. Permit and enrollment requirements must be met before a request can be processed (examples can be found here). Additional charges may apply based upon your TDSP.
4Referrals may only be submitted by active Reliant residential customers with a Texas service address. To qualify for bill credit, referrals must be new Reliant residential customers in Texas enrolled on a term plan with a minimum of ten days of active electricity service on that plan. Bill credit will be applied within two billing cycles after the referred customer has completed ten days of active electricity service. Bill credit not redeemable for cash. Any disputes relating to eligibility will be determined solely by Reliant. Reliant may modify or discontinue this program at any time without notice.
