How to Sign Up
We are here to help you through the sign-up process.
Here's what you can expect.
Receive confirmation
- By mail — If you sign up for service over the phone, you will receive a welcome packet in the mail with your Terms of Service documents. If you are switching to us from another provider, you will also receive a postcard from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas confirming your switch.
- By phone — We will contact you if additional information is required for service to begin, such as satisfying a deposit or providing a valid form of identification.
Establish service
- Initial meter read — Your meter will be read approximately 4-6 weeks after we receive your request.
- First bill — Your first bill will arrive in approximately 30-45 days after service begins. If you are switching to us from another provider, you will also receive a final bill from your previous electric company for the electricity that you used until the date of the initial meter read.
