NRG Reliant Gives

$720,000

DONATED TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH THE RELIANT GIVES PROGRAM SINCE 2016

Quotation rightWe designed the Reliant Gives program as a way to empower employees and communities to help support organizations that are making a difference. Along the way, we realized we created a platform that allowed anyone from anywhere to get involved with communities across Texas with just one click. Congratulations to all of our heroes – the nonprofits, the employees and everyone who votes.Quotation left

Through Reliant Gives, nonprofits are nominated by Reliant employees and the public directs our charitable giving. Nominated organizations serve communities where we live and work alongside our customers. In addition to the Reliant Gives program, Reliant supports local communities through volunteerism, charitable giving and partnerships with a variety of organizations. In 2017 our employees served over 7,000 volunteer hours and we donated more than $4 million to community programs across Texas. Watch the #TexasStrong video to learn more about our efforts in 2017.
