As Vice President of Retail Supply, Durow is responsible for hedging commodity risk and managing the energy supply portfolio for the retail business in Texas and the Northeast, which currently consists of over 10,000 megawatts of peak demand.
Durow offers over 19 years of energy industry experience, and since joining Reliant in 1999 has contributed through a variety of roles. These roles have included wholesale structuring, corporate strategy and wholesale origination, where he was responsible for originating sales from power plants in the western United States.
Prior to joining Reliant, Durow held a variety of positions in engineering and corporate strategy with Koch Industries in Texas, Kansas and Minnesota. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
