Packing your suitcase

You’ve packed most of your things, notified VIPs of your new address, helped your children become accustomed to the idea of moving, and, if necessary, switched your utilities and insurance coverage to new companies. So what’s left?

Pack a special box or suitcase with some kitchen and bathroom items that you might need immediately at your new house. Also include a change of clothes, clean sheets, medications and comfort items for your children (such as a favorite toy or blanket). Keep this box in your car, and make sure it's easy to get to once your move is complete.
